COVID Update for Marketplace.
ASTRA will be following the COVID requirements and recommendations of the City of Long Beach, during ASTRA Marketplace & Academy, June 12 – 15, 2022.
HEALTH ORDER FOR CONTROL OF COVID-19 ORDER ISSUED: April 29, 2022 Effective as of 12:01 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022
Masking will continue to be strongly recommended, but no longer required, in most indoor settings and in K-12 Schools or childcare facilities.
Masks are required to be worn by everyone, 2 years of age and older, regardless of COVID19 vaccination status, in the following settings within the City:
* On public transit (examples: commuter trains, subways, buses, taxis, and ride-shares)
* Indoor transportation hubs (examples: airport and bus terminals, train and subway
stations, seaports or other ports, or any other area that provides transportation)
As per the CDC, "Masks help prevent people who have COVID-19, including those who are pre- symptomatic or asymptomatic, from spreading the virus to others."
ASTRA encourages everyone to take the precautions they feel necessary to ensure their own health and safety.
We ask that everyone be considerate and respectful of the choices of others.
